We are taking
A leap of faith
To fall in love
As mature seniors,
We give hostages
To fate, each other
And ourselves.
How will we live,
What costs are shared
And what is only
Our own alone.
So much simpler if
We were married
With a prenup than as
Partners making up
Our decisions as we go.
We will make our
Choices together
And find our way
As we go.
We have trust
And care plus an

For each other.
