Falling Laughter
We were situating
Ourselves on
Your bed,
Clothes gone,
We were
Eager to embrace.
You were moving from
Sitting on the edge
Of the bed to
Lying facing me
And began to slide
Onto the floor,
I held your arm
But we both slid
To a pile on the
Floor,
Got up with
Difficulty,
Climbed back on
Your bed,
Looked into each
other’s eyes,
And laughed
For minutes
At our mutual
Frailties.
Lay down
Embraced
And enjoyed
Each other.
