Questionable Things

I have done questionable
Things none of which
I regret or would undo
Though I have hurt
Others when it was
Unavoidable.
I have entered where I knew
Better than to go even
When I was unprepared
And had to depend on
Improvisation to adapt and
Overcome as best I could.
I have learned the lessons
Of rolling the dice whether
I won or lost or both,
And now I know the candle
Of our life is worth the
Game we play.
