Not the heart.
We are a great
Nation because
We compromise,
But when we fail
It is because we
Try politics of the
Heart which caused
The Civil War and
Innumerable bad
Divorces, broken
Friendships and
Failed deals.
Be mindful in
Politics to
Compromise
With the head
And not the
Heart which
Is a lonely
Hunter and
Prefers to be
Right rather
Than find
A solution
For both
Sides.
Each side
Must give up
A bit of being right,
A bit of their dearest beliefs
In order to compromise
To find a solution.
Successful
Countries,
Marriages,
Friendships,
All depend on
Being mindful to
Compromise
With the
Head not
The heart.
