What kind of rebirth
Wakes passion long dead,
A winter of emptiness
A Spring of wildflowers
Wave across my heart.
I no longer seek the
Company of comets
Under a frozen sky,
I have found a companion
Who loves me back
Like two halves who
Have found together
A symmetry of one.
Passion burns in my
Heart to be close to
Her and light a
Conflagration of joy
To light the sky and
Usher in a summer
Of our love lasting
A decade or more
For our happiness,
Though each day
We share and
Grow our
Trust.
I have so
Much to learn
About what makes
Her happy, places
To go, things
To see,
Together.
