So often in life
We try to treat the
Symptoms of a problem
Rather than the cause,
Treating symptoms avoids
Confronting what is causing
The problem like ignorance
Prejudice brutality and poverty.
Caravans of refugees headed for
Our southern border are symptoms
Of all these evils in the societies
South of our borders.
No wall will turn
Them back,
Only curing
The cause
Will make
The
Symptoms
Go away so why
Not create a Continental
Police like Europe’s Europol
And an Agri-business
Agency to create an
Economy that lets
The local society
Function free of
Drug gangs or
Petty Latin
American
Dictators who
Put their welfare
Over the peace and
Prosperity of the mass
Of people who just
Want to live with
Out fear and
Persecution.
But, that
Would
Be fixing
The problem
There and
Ignoring
It here.
