I do realize that for both Carol
And lecturing at sea the new
Has pretty much worn off.
And, I have been offered
A chance to teach at
ACC again in Austin
So, luck trumps
Stupidity.

From dementia/Alzheimer’s?
Not much it seems except
Life goes on with such
Surprising things we
Could not write it
As fiction if we
Did not see it
Ourselves.
Our bit of
Perception
Should humble
Us to our blindness to
A reality we only glimpse
As we shuffle our way to
Our next assignment in
Life not as we see it
But as fate decides,
All we can do is to
Land on our feet
Though I laugh
At the irony in
My case and
