Faith and ignorance
Go hand and hand,
As they should since
Faith like love is
A leap of faith in
Ignorance of facts.
We believe in faith
Though in ignorance,
Our only guide
Transcendentalism,
Truth without proof.
Not on scientific proofs,
Not on objective eyewitnesses
With nothing to gain,
Not on a mere hunch
Or writing on a wall,
But by faith alone
But by love alone
We leap into
The unknown
Secure we
Should
Do right
And risk the
Consequences.
