Lie

When very young we learn
To play to our strengths
Boys hit and girls lie,
We play the cards
We are dealt or
Improvise as
Best we can.
If acting is
A lie we
All agree
Is played to
An audience,
Are girls and women
Much better than men at this
Ceremony of deceit recognized
As art to allow a catharsis for
The audience and though
Men can appreciate the
Ceremony they are not
Able to believe what
Is acted with the
Fervor of a girl
Or women
Which
Would help explain
Total Quality Management
In which if you are not part of
The solution then you are a
Part of the problem and
Failure to believe in the
Ritual words and view
Point of TQM means
You are not acting
Right and thus a
Problem for the
Other actors,
Or is the
World
Not
A
Stage?
No, second
Thought or sight
Convinces me men
Can be much more vain
Than women though
We call it hubris to
Soften the pill for
Male ego more
Tender to the
Truth then
Women’s
Intuition.
In either case,
Tell us what we
Want to hear or be
Prepared for our
Righteous
Wrath.
