Steam Valve

New

My poor poems
Are the steam valve
On my old boiler patched
Up sufficient for the purpose
Of experiencing every moment
Of life allowed to me awake
Among too many sleepers
Glad to meet another
Who stumbles yet
Forward awake
Like me in a
World of
Clocks
Ticking away
Lives in a groove
On a record round
And round missing love
Of another
Of children
Of family
Of friends,
Awake sleeper!
Carpe all the diem
You can, spread love
And forgiveness,
Remember
Passion,
Find
The
One who
Waits for you.
