Should act
As the
Weaker
Vessel, subservient
To men who saw themselves
As father figures protecting their
Daughters from female fantasy,
Guarding each society’s
Particular moral views
On how women must
Conduct themselves
To avoid pregnancy
All over-turned
In the mid 60s
Leading to
Roe vs
Wade
And
A woman’s
Right to control
Her own body no
Matter what opposition
From the spokes-patriarchs
Of God’s moral order in
The universe, and now
In 2019 the second
Choice of women
Is being torn to
Pieces which
Will lead to
The ban
Or to
Restrictions
On taking the
Pill and the
Return to
The
Subjugation
Of women
To the
Fears
Of
Old men
That somewhere,
Somehow, someone
Who is female controls
Their own body and
May be having
Fun free of
The
Patriarchs
Of platitudes
To whom I must
