Walls

New

I am ten building
Walls of fallen leaves
In our backyard creating
Rooms hallways doors though
Windows are not possible except
By imagination so no matter but
Some strong wind may blow my
Leaf house away meanwhile
My sisters and I wander
Room to room to claim
Our favorite space in
The leaf house and
Add rooms as the
Backyard allows
Coming out to
Play the next
Morning we
Start again
On a new
Design
Of
Walls
One can
Step across
Or move at will
Like a future house
Our grandchildren will
Live in though our leaf
Creation are too fun
To consider even
Tomorrow as
We play in
Our yard
As many
Autumn
Days
Are
Left
Much
As I do
Now at 73
Letting tomorrow
Take care of itself.
