So many faces
Looking about left
And right at gizmos
Signs yawning heavily
Burdened with baggage
Kids spouses and plans for
This or that all intent on their
Journey’s end and their upcoming
Adventure to begin when in truth
They are already on a greater
Adventure living their lives
Day-to-day adding to the
Final weighing on the
Scales to see if they
Have done more
Good or bad
But not yet
Aware all
Is one
Thing
After
Another.
Perhaps the
Whole might be
Too much to carry
So ignorance is bliss
But I think it is better to
Be aware that actions
Do have eventual
Consequences.
Besides, too
Hard to try
To guard
Too
Many
Secrets,
Hard enough
Just to remember
What has actually
Happened for
Recompense
Or glory or
What is
On the
Other
Side of
The shower
Curtain and where
Is our home and
Heart in the
Sieve of
Airports.
