Walk II

Hand in hand like
Hansel and Gretel we
Walk along the lakeshore
Brother and sister together
Old enemies now friends as
So many are gone but we are
Still here your palm is moist
My words clumsy but no
Matter after sixty years
In each other’s lives
We discuss every
Thing analytical
Beyond what
Seems to fit
Between
Sibs on
A walk
On an
Autumn
Afternoon
Scattering
Leaves like
Memories
Of the
Past.
Walk with
Me a little further
We watch leaves fall
Green to yellow
Red to brown
Now until
Then.
