Conductor

All the train conductors
I have met are female unlike
My train trips in the early 1950s
When conductors we mostly males
And white but these days they are
All colors and ethnicities and a
Good deal friendlier than past
So I muse myself thinking of
My 15,000 students over
The last 50 years and
About the lifting up
Of women which
Had to occur as
Otherwise so
Much talent
Would have
Gone to
Waste
But
I wish
I had done
More for the
Male students
Many veterans
Torn body to soul
All of whom had to
Adjust to women in the
Workplace as equals which
Helped us in the long run and
Will help us all in the future but
For those who never got the job
Some woman got who never
Found a soulmate as they
Are not a good fit for a
Young woman on the
Rise for all those
Guys who never
Got to be a Dad
Or get a thank
You for just
Holding a
Door I
Am
Sad
Their
Rate of
Suicide is
Steadily rising
As they attempt
To adjust to a new
And better America
So I hope we will
Elect as our
President
A female
Conductor.
