I am seven
Old enough to
Grasp reality but
Lack experience so
When I am ordered into
The house rabid dog in street
I know the danger is real the same
Feeling I have today about Trump
Who is a real danger to our own
Republic as shown recently at
The Washington prayer event
Where the President failed
To grasp the concept of
Forgiveness and trust
In God and instead
Turned to distrust
And acrimony to
Anyone who
Was critical
Of him a
Pattern
He has shown
On too many occasions
To too many people which
Makes me think of that rabid
Dog in the street in the 1950s
Except the only way to protect
Our Republic is by ballot in
2020 when we will have
To vote not pray the
Rabies away by
Voting for a
Person we
Do not
Like
But
Still better
Than Trump,
For to touch evil
By commission or
By omission is to be
Tainted by evil always
