Mess
I am amazed
At the disparity
Of views on mess,
For some everything
In their home or yours
Should be neatly placed
Just so as to be out of sight
Or turned a-sconce so as to be
A part of the flowing line of feng-
Shuiymmetry integral to the whole.
Or, if you like a bit of mess then a
Royal pain to put up with a neat
Freak who reacts to a coffee
Table littered with papers
And magazines with a
Cinema film scream a
Look of horror and a
Compulsion to not
Only straighten
But to clean
Up mess
At once
For
Fear the
Clutter may
Spread but my
View is a clean work
Desk is an indication of
A potential monetary saving
In the office chain of command.
Mess is the breeding ground of
Creativity though I admit what
Is mess, like beauty, is in the
Eye of the beholder at least
To a certain extent so in
Your house your choice
But in mine it stays
Where it lays until
I am ready to
Clean up the
Cherished
Beloved
Mess I
Call
My life.
