Muse

A declension of
The heart I muse,
Peruse amuse bemused
Seems the sum of many years
On the field of love and passion.
Though I wonder if simply not being
Used or using others would not be
A better mantra of life than the
Self-reflection afterwords so
Here is to treating others
With respect and kind
Consideration just
Feelings but too
Tender a topic
To fumble a
Heart hers
Or mine.
Best to
Muse
On how
Not to use
Another’s trust
As there but for the
Grace of God goes me.
