Roman Empire the
Elite wore blond wigs
And powdered their faces
To resemble the Germanic tribes
That the Romans considered more
Vibrant then themselves just as
The Greek colonists in ancient
Alexandria tried to imitate the
Egyptians by dying their hair
Black as shown by a bit of
Graffiti on an excavated
Wall, “Pricilla dyes her
Lockes tis said but tis
A foul aspersion (lie)
She buys them
Black they
Therefore
Need no
Subsequent
Immersion.” Just
So with America’s
Current fad of white
Self-deprecation and
Endless pandering to the
Latest excuse for white
Guilt touted as white
Privilege and is that
Applicable to the
White soldiers
Dead fighting
To preserve
The Union
And free
Slaves.
In 1865-7
A white male
Congress freed
The slaves and gave
Citizenship and the vote
To African-Americans and
Later in 1919 a white male
Congress gave women
The vote but why did
White privilege opt
To share power if
Only white male
Lives matter or
Are we today
Twisting our
History to
Placate
Media
Divas
And
Doddering
Dunderheads.
Or is that a horse
Of a different color?
