Beautiful mostly pristine
Beaches of light grey sand
For hundreds of miles but on
This winter day in the 70s we
Are driving in the rainy wind
Looking for lunch when we
Spot a place in gritty Port
Arkansas go on in and
Order battered-fried
Shrimp firstly then
A blackened red
Fish broil as the
Wind whistles
Rain outside
We dip the
Shrimp in
Cocktail
Sauce
Savor the
Redfish cooking
And pick that fish clean
As we sit back laugh talk and
Enjoy the company of Gulf Texans.
