Work all part
Of our home
A room car
Condo or
Dwelling
Cafe or
Bar a
Place
We know
We can go
Safe awhile
And in this pan
Dementia of Covid
19 all this is magnified
As we each hunker down
As best we can in our place
Forgetting for awhile no place
Is forever, dust to dust in the wind.
One day this too shall pass and
We will each of us look back
On this year of 2020 as the
Long weekend for better
Or worse where we
Spent our time
In our place
Of choice
Or labor
Always
To be
A memory
Never forgotten.
