Honor

Too precious
To trade for guile
Honor gleams in the
Miasma of war or stress
Something clean and bright.
To do the honorable thing
Is by far better than any
Temporary diversion
At least as we see
Honor at the time
Trying to be a
Good person
Rather than
Corrupted
By some
Passing
Fancy
Always trying
To find our honor.
Children I think are
The best way to do right
And risk the consequences.
