Shrimp

I am sitting
At a cafe by the
Gulf with family and
Friends eating shrimp
Asking for malt vinegar
And also cocktail sauce
Many times over the last
Sixty-three years in Texas
From the age of 11 to 75.
Shrimp boiled, battered
And fried popcorn to
Jumbo shrimp this
Or that always a
Delicious dish
To share
With
Folks who
Enjoy company,
Half a dozen shrimp.
