We are walking
Back to our hotel
Near the Gulf beach
After a seafood meal
At a beach restaurant at
Night the sound of surf on
The beach close by but as
I look at her face moonlit
I am moonstruck by her
Beauty and grace not
Just tonight but over
The 48 years I’ve
Known her ever
Eager to live
Life enjoy
Each
Day
And night.
She’s a moonbeam
Dancing under starlight.
