Canoe

I take my two sons
In their early teens
Out onto Town Lake
In a rented canoe
I am clumsy but
We do not tip
Over later I am one
Of three in a canoe
Racing down the
Guadalupe we go
Over a low dam top
Speed we are the
Only canoe not to
Capsize that day.
