Scary sci-fi movie
Pause it to go to the
Kitchen pantry to get
Out fixins to make
Chili tomorrow
But forget to
Turn on the
Kitchen
Light
As I open
The pantry I’m
Face to face with
Vertical tendrils up
Out of the top of a
Head not there an
Hour ago so I am
Thinking how
Odd then I
Realize it
Is an old
Onion
The two
Ears are
Only garlic
Knobs the noise
Like Darth Vader
Only my breath.
