There is a mist
Of fog and light
Rain the morning
I go to the DMV to
Get my Texas DL so
Strangely enough the
Place is almost empty
As I take my eye test
Then get my photo
Which I do not at
The time notice
Is like no other
DL photo it
Is ghostly
Grey no
Color
In the photo
Like a mist grey
Like that morning.
When I show it
Folks stop to
Check and
Say heh
This is
Grey.
