She loves dogs
And they love her
So I’m aware she is
A good person she sits
Across a small table from
Me at a restaurant in one
Of the beach towns just
North of San Diego on
Her right is Misty on
Her left Carol all of
Them old friends
I am allowed to
Tag along for
A dinner so
Each one
Drink so
A smile
They
Talk
I listen
It is a starry
Night magical
Four friends out
For the evening
Happy though
We keep our
Dogs on our
Minds they
Await our
Return.
