Does the soul
Remember who
It has been in life
Each time or do we
Start tabula raza with
A blank slate both body
And soul though I think
It more likely the soul
Does remember its
Lives an amalgam
Of each e pluribis
Unum ready for
The next task
Each time
Yet still
Casting
A look back
Once in awhile
At those for whom
Love is for always
Life to life truly
Undying we
Each carry
Our soul
Then
Pass the
Torch foreword.
