American politics
Rests on compromise,
If a sufficient number are
Unwilling to compromise
Then there will be
Gridlock leading to violence.
The extreme views of the
Far right and far left both
Purport to be middle of
The road though they both
Drip the venom of extreme
Political views and
Disparage each
Other and all
Between.
Extremists will not relent or
Compromise until they
Destroy the faith
Of the people
In their
Own
Government which should be
By, for and of the people.
Two self-important
Gangs each
Rabid for
Power
And dedicated not to the
Interests of the middle
Class but of other
Special interests,
Not in our
Nation’s.
Extremists include corporations,
Foreign powers, the super-rich, advocacy groups and others who put their own interests ahead of
What is best for the middle
Class which is what is
Best for our country
And the only
Security
Versus
Chaos.
