My Faith

I believe in the teachings
Of Jesus of Nazareth,
A renegade rabbi who
Abhorred the corrupting
Power of money and greed
Preferring the nobility of
The meek who labor even
Though they are ignored.
All that seems right and just
Are contained in the parables
Of Jesus though I like to
Read the other facets of
The truth from Moses,
Buddha, Muhammed and
All the others who glimpsed
The Universal God.
