Cynics of parenting

You want
Appreciation
Get a dog.
This is a good idea,
Dogs are
Wonderful companions
For the whole
Family and
Kids in particular.
As for kids and
Appreciation,
My sons were
All good boys
And fine men
Upon whose
Support I have
Depended these
Last few years
And for which I am
Appreciative.
My daughters-in-law
Aer gooderin an ary an angel.
Wonderful women
I am delighted
To call daughters.
Perhaps there are
Children who are
Unappreciative
Of there parents
Or parent but a
Child twisted by
Divorce or loss
Or guilt can
Only act out,
Standing arms
Crossed frowning
In childhood photos.
They will grow
Up often to be
Loving people,
Wonderful mothers,
Who have learned
To forgive if
Not to forget.
