Some folks shine
With compassion
For others and a
Sense of humor
Self-deprecatory,
They do not laugh at
The embarrassments
Of others but feel an
Empathy for all sentient
Beings, an understanding
Uncanny of what gives
Another a smile of
Pleasure and
Delight.

Shines you may
Be unaware of your
Gift but notice sometimes
Your own eyes meet those of
Another and feel a connection,
A familiarity without a basis
But strong nonetheless
Because they also
Shine allowing

Out the
Solid
Basis you rely
