With life with Carol in
Sunny, cool, desert dry
Southern California,
Where we live in our
Home on a hillside
With a garden in
Backyard with
Strange trees
Shrubs and
Flowers.
Scents
From
I do
Not
Know
What drift
Through the
Open doors and
Windows making me
Stop my reading to try
And identify what is blooming
On our hillside a few miles from
Moonlight beach on the Pacific
Ocean where I will stroll with
Carol in a few weeks
Though we
Already
Grocery shop
Together and drive
My car with hand controls,
We are planning a
Voyage to the
South Seas
Next year
As the
Anticipation
Of a trip
Is as
Much
Fun as the
Actual voyage.
Just so with my future
Here with Carol
Before me,
I enjoy
Each
Day
A
Little more content.
