Her Kids

I am 73 living with
My dear Love happily
Together though her kids
Are fierce in their love for their
Mom whom they fear is unhappy,
I am proud of them for their
Fierceness in defense of
Their mother though
She tells them she
Is happy with me,
I do understand
Her kids must
Guard their
Mom as
Best
They can.
They each try
In their own way
To protect their Mom,
One keeps checking
She is still happy &
The other is loyally
Aloof to both of
Us so I urge
My love to
Hug
Him and
Tell him that
She loves him for
Being such a
Good father
To her two
Grandkids
Who are
Both
Charming
Plus I put on
His jacket he left
Here and hug her
Saying I love you Mom
To make her laugh.
Her kids if they
Ever meet my kids
Will be reassured after
Talking for awhile as
My kids and grand
Kids and great
Grandkids
Are all as
Good as
It gets
Being
Near
Perfect
In my humble
Opinion as
Pop-Pops
Or Dad.
