Old friend

Shadows

As we trade stories
Listening to our friend’s
Voice and perhaps seeing
Their smile as we video chat
More comfortable sipping
Something slowly as we
Parse the time with
Stories, enjoying
Talking over
Our lives
Loves
And
Listening.
Family and
Lovers we must,
Friends we choose.
