To scourge Wall Street
Or forfeit the health of our
Planet and the American middling
Sort or middle class all for short
Term profits Wall Street has
Taken from the middle
And given to the rich
Which means both
Income as well as
Asserts taxes on
Incomes and
Estates of
Over
Ten
Million
Dollars in
Order to return
To a more egalitarian
American society
Or face the loss
Of our future
As a free
People,
Even
Though
The folks
Who would
Benefit by raising
The incomes of the
Lower middle class are
The same folks who will
Most oppose a move to the
Left in American politics
Preferring to remain
Attached to their
Prejudices than
Admitting the
Rich are not
Their friend
But their
Enemy
Who
If not checked
Will continue
To scourge
Them.
