I give thanks
For each day
Here on a coast
Gentle on the heart
In Southern California
Though I miss my family
And old friends far from me
But not forgotten while I write
Poems read history and am the
Best partner I can be given my
Penchants and picayunes but
Always I give thanks for each
Day savoring life now and in
The past thinking about
How very much in love
I am have been will
Be in whatever
Future I may
Have on
This
Gentle
Coast learning
Just what day-to-day
Means sharing humor with
Those around me near
Or far by look texts
Laughter phone
Calls or video
Chats to be
A better
Person
At
Least
As a goal,
