Instinct

You cannot hit a
Baseball by rational
Thought or reason but
Only by instinct and it is
Just so with love which is
A leap of faith based on just
An instinct and no one is immune
To falling not walking our way in
To loving someone or even
Something like music art
Literature a house a car
A pet or anything since
Instinct is beyond our
Control which is not
To say we cannot
Try to resist but
It is futile to try
Thinking our
Way out of
Love as
Only
Time death
And distance
Can bring us back
To our senses which
Got us into the mess
In the first place so
Resistance is not
Likely to work,
Surrender to
Love then
See what
Happens
Trust
Your instinct.
