Fat
I am fortyish
And fat my shield
Against too close a
Contact with others,
A great camouflage to
Hide behind appearing
No threat no Cassius I but
Aware of the revulsion of
Others who see only an
Image most missing a
Second look but no
Disguise is perfect
And a few realize
Who I am and
Make friends
Though as
Time has
Passed
I am
My old
Slimmer
Self hard
To keep up
A shield easier
To just confront
And smile so I hope
You my friend will take
My advice and allow others
To see you as competition
Lose five or a hundred
Pounds get busy
With life not a
Snack let the
World see
You and
Smile.
Yes,
I mean you.
