Giving

Giving is a
Two-way street,
It requires reassurance
The gift will be used with
Appropriate purpose and to
Allow the recipient to in future
Provide for themselves and pass
It on by giving themselves and not
Simply continuing to receive as it
Is better to give than to receive.
Or, am I wrong? In the new US
Is it better to receive than to
Give and if so why aren’t a
Lot more of us receiving
Than giving but I think
The only escape from
Poverty is a public
Education which
Is hurt by lack
Of local folks
In control of
Schools a
Problem
Of too
Many
Education
Majors running
Schools instead of
Teachers being allowed
To discipline so they can teach.
This blessed giving Tuesday
Give back schools to the
Teachers and when
You hang a wreath
Also get rid of a
Red tape use
Less bureau
Crat who
Only
Makes
Memos
And let teachers
Get back to teaching.
Americans who are
Giving are not so
Much in the
Giving
Mood.
