Along with the
Snarky infighting
Of cabin fever a silly
Stage emerges resulting
In hilarious posts and texts
That soften the depression of
Those who yearn for our family
Closeness not to mention the
Joy of human interaction of
Handshakes or a shoulder
Slap or the hushed tones
Heads close of gossip
Or a good story but
In the absence of
All these we get
Silly which can
Alleviate the
Sadness of
Separation
By shared
Laughter
At our
Pain
The German
Word for which
Is Schadenfreude
Or sadness-laughter
As we have as a planet
Slipped on the banana peel
Landing hard on our keister too
