Look
I walk outside
Overwhelmed by
Colors bright varied
Green tree leaves lawns
Blue sky red-tiled roofs the
Whole world of color fresh in
The morning of the world like the
Smells sounds and feel of southern
California so much like and unalike
Places all over this planet and of
Visited places all over the
Galaxies across the
Universe waiting
To greet you
One day
But for
Now
The music
Carries us back
And forth all kinds
Each a delight to some
A feast for the ears and the
Imagination available everywhere.
Same for art and literature and
All the divertissements you
May care to enjoy like a
Stroll on the beach
Holding hands a
Shared kiss an
Embrace in
Public an
Exchange
Of a look a
Smile laughing
In sunshine or rain
Even a hike in the snow.
You have five senses use ‘em.
And if you have a sixth
Then use it for good,
You are not alone
And there is
Always a
Seventh
Sense.
You didn’t
Get that memo?
Look for good
Common
Sense.
