Cost

The cost of
Opening up is
A price some want
So if some are ready
To open up then let them.
We can remain sheltering in
Our homes while some go out to
Bars restaurants sports events and
Places of worship and if nothing
Happens to those brave souls
Then they were right to open
Up salons shops all the rest
But if their visit causes a
Rise in the death rate of
COVID-19 sufferers then
I cannot but say
Never saw the
Hand of the
Lord so
Clear.
The some
Will do what
They feel is best
For them no matter
What is said so let them.
Chump change for the plate.
And for the some who never get
Sick but spread the virus why
They will never see they are
Responsible never admit
A mistake never see
What they have
Done never
Have a
Regret
Or see
The cost
