Amazed at the
Difference a milk
Additive Ovaltine is
Making adding cocoa
Whey and malt flavor to
A perfectly good glass of
Milk a concoction I would find
Undrinkable but at seven seemed
A good idea so I question all the
Things I currently believe true
Tasty or terrific and what my
Friends now feel is great
But in time will come to
Despise once we see
The thing from new
Perspectives such
As a progressive
Majority in the
Senate and
House to
Balance
The
Supreme
Court impeaching
Judges across the Federal
Judiciary as nonessential Ovaltine.
As a conservative I support Ike’s
1959 federal income tax
Brackets when the rich
Paid ninety percent
Plus of their
Income to
The IRS
And
Kids liked
Ovaltine in milk.
Why not an annual
Ten percent assets tax
On all wealthy individuals
With over ten million net worth
And watch the Ovaltine splutter.
