Great Grandsons

I wonder
Whatever
The future
Holds for my
Great grandsons
Boys now but one day
Grown-up with children of
Their own and it occurs
To me each generation
Must muse on future
Fortunes and over
The last 10,000
Years since the
Ice retreated
We have
Made
A better
World as
Best we could
And in 10,000 years
Where will our progeny be?
Is the Universe half
Empty or half
Full?
