Dogs

I am 74
Living in a
Condo with
Neighbors up
Stairs a nice 40ish
Couple with two dogs
Harley and Gunner whose
Barks bays howls keep me in
Good company as the dogs run
Around guarding front side and the
Back of their condo though I never
Hear the couple just the dogs or
Guest kids who join the dogs in
Charging back and forth all
Good company as I am so
Accustomed to sharing
A house with others
The dogs amuse
Me and when
The couple
Rode off
In golf
Carts
For twenty
Minutes the
Dogs divided
A feather pillow
To ease their anxiety
Which prompted them
To inquire if I had heard a
Commotion so I told them I had
Heard the song playing WHO
LET THE DOGS OUT
Or thought I might
Have heard it.
Woof.
