In one man
Or woman
Who tries
To be all
These
But is only
Human there
Fore flawed and
Corruptible given
The power of office.
Faith in politics is like
Living in a fool’s paradise,
You wake up in bed with Trump.
Faith and belief transcend the
Politics of compromise which
Is our method of resolution
And leave only a zealous
Insurrection against our
Selves beyond reason
Relying on lies fake
News and reliance
On conspiracy
Theories like
Lizard folks.
Ignorance
Embraced is
The result of faith
And belief in leaders
Rather than principles.
Putin is the proud father
Of all those Proud Boys
Who desecrated our
Capitol and way of
Politics so now
We substitute
Faith in some
Hack over
Country.
