Voyaging the winter
Seas and oceans.
Sailing from Rome
To Spain Portuguese
Madeira to Florida
Then the Bahamas
And the Greater
Antilles to Mexico
Then on to the
Second star from
The right of the
Big Dipper past
Cares on calm
Seas and clear
Skies to where
Dreams are true.
Then back to
Fort Lauderdale
And home again
With memories
And poems to
Write and a life
To live in southern
California.
