Shut

She cannot
Shut the fridge
Door no matter what,
She walks away to a counter
Or even another room unaware
Even after the annoying sound
Of beeping repetitively gongs.
But she is unaware if she
Has not shut the fridge
Door nor is bothered
Unless I ask her if
She wants me to
Shut it for her
Which she
Finds off
Putting
So I
Ignore
The gonging
Though it is painful
To me to waste electricity
But mainly my calm but this
Is my problem not hers and if
It annoys me then I should shut
It then shut it all over again so
As not to try and make my
Idea of normal into her
Benchmark which is
Good advice in life.

Just shut it,
